Tackers Foundation Limited is a registered charity, and its primary function is to provide support services for children who are waiting for a transplant and children who have already received a transplant, and their families.

Children suffer from a variety of illnesses where the primary cure is a new organ such as a heart, liver, kidney or lungs. In the past there have been a number of organisations representing various illnesses but there was no group that represented transplant children solely and catered to their specific needs.

Tackers Foundation will be an advocate for transplant children in the community. In developing a profile and generating community and corporate support, we believe we can help change attitudes to organ donation so that more people decide to become donors. Ultimately, many lives can be saved, and children and adults alike will benefit from receiving a transplant sooner.
